Sim City Classic

Just finished my latest poster. Starting to feel like I've got a real hold on these posters now. The style seems to be somewhat developing more. This is a continuation of my Video Game Movie Poster series. For this piece I focussed on Sim City Classic which was the first game I ever played on a console.

I made this piece entirely in Photoshop, it took approx 17 hrs to complete after including alot of research, name finding & release date searching. I was surprised to find out about all the versions that came before the SNES version. The size of this poster is 11"x17"

I included a few things in the poster that were in the game. Such as the RCI indicator. The buildings and the poster itself was entirely created using only the colors blue/green/yellow to represent the 3 building types commercial/residential/industrial.
The release date was from the time when Nintendo didn't give specific dates for release only month timeframes. At the time as well Maxis was independent and not owned by EA.

Thanks for Looking.
Ron

Esandar Dr. - Photoshoot

I got to go out today and kinda finish what I wasn't able to accomplish during the Trinity St. Photoshoot. Which was a photoshoot with my Lady Indy. So we roamed around a warehouse in Leaside and got some nice shots. It was cold ... again, colder than yesterday. At least there wasn't the wind. This was probably my fav shot from the whole thing. If you want to see the best of the shoot feel free to check it out on my Flickr.

Trinity St. Photoshoot.

So I had the privilege of going out with my girlfriend Indy and our good friend Gabby for a Photoshoot in the Distillery District in Toronto yesterday. This was somewhat of a mistake ... since it turned out to be -10*C out with a decent little breeze. So I was shivering, they were shivering, the camera couldn't focus. I got around 40 shots before we gave up and called it a day. Out of those I really only liked about 3 shots 2 of which I have shared on Flickr, and my fav which I have shared here. Today I got to do a quick photo-shoot with my girlfriend which I will hopefully share tomorrow.

Take Care Everyone
Ron
